Angelica Panganiban, a Filipino American model and actress who also works as a television hostess as well as a comedian. After spending 80 consecutive days in the hospital and a few days in the hospital, she was in danger of death to an extended recuperation path. Angelica had been in dialysis for nearly a year before finally being able for the biggest procedure of her life: a transplant of the kidney. It was her own mother who would donate the kidney. Angelica together with her mother, went through an organ transplant successfully on September 13th 2013 in two fantastic hospitals situated right next to each other - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston.
