Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert (born January 27, 1970) is an American broadcast journalist and former official of the government who was Spokesperson for the United States Department of State in the Donald Trump administration from 2017 until 2019. She is a senior fellow of the Hudson Institute, a conservative think tank.
Before her position at the Department of State she was a Fox News correspondent and news presenter. She also served as the Acting Secretary of State for Foreign Public Relations and Diplomacy during the Trump government, from March to October 2018. Nauert was named by Trump to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board and to the President's Commission on White House Fellowships in 2019.
